FY26 Gun Violence Prevention Mini-Grants

The DC Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) builds partnerships and implements community-based strategies that reduce gun-related violence across the District. As a mission-driven agency dedicated to violence prevention, ONSE seeks to invest in organizations, community leaders, and initiatives that share our commitment to addressing the root causes of violence and creating safer, healthier communities.

To further this mission, ONSE's Violence Intervention (VI) Division is accepting applications for funding through the FY26 Violence Prevention Mini-Grant Program.

Funding is targeted toward individuals between the ages of 12 and 35 and supports innovative community-based projects that promote violence prevention, healing, community engagement, and positive youth development.

The Request for Applications (RFA) makes available approximately $225,000 in funding, with awards of up to $15,000 per grantee.
