Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief of Staff

Yasha Williams Robinson serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief of Staff at the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE). She is an experienced District government executive spanning over 20 years and seven local agencies, with a diverse portfolio in strategic planning, capital project management, and multi-million-dollar budget management. Yasha has a proven record of improving business processes and developing compliance procedures. She has a demonstrated ability to increase business revenue, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, and improve human resource structures and contractual programming in alignment with District government goals and objectives.

An accomplished manager of finance and budget, Yasha has successfully overseen more than $260 million in operating budgets and over $80 million in capital budgets. This budget oversight included $5.2 million in Exelon and $4.1 million in Washington Gas corporate partnership funding, in support of work readiness training programs for underemployed and unemployed District residents.

Yasha is a native Washingtonian and is proud of her lifelong connections to the District through her upbringing.  She is a long-standing member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and is very active in building her community through the Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter.
